Damn. Grade twelve is almost over. Gonna be a University girl soon. BADASS! Super excited...but starting to think of the good old days. Guess it comes with the terrain.

Luckily, I haven't had too much of writer's block....at least not for my own personal fiction. The fan-fiction is slow going (obviously). Now that I'm done with Writer's Craft I don't have as many 'random' pieces to flaunt. Basically I'm just experimenting on my present writing to make way for future masterpieces.

I've put in some pieces for writing contests. One of them has passed the first round and will be published in a book along with the other top 20% of grades 1-12. It's not a very prestiegous contest to say the least, but it's definitely a nice ego boost. I'll get further results on whether I won anything in June so fingers crossed. The same goes for my local newspaper short story contest entry. When those are over I can post the entries here, but until then I can't because they might think I stole or republished them.

-I'm a Canadian with dreams of living in San Diego where I can write my stories on the beach.
